Onboard air system
I like your system. I built one long ago you can view 100 series LC/LX FAQ ~ Mods ~ Air system.
Mine's worked flawlessly for air ups, tools on tear downs and lockers. I used a collector on my intake to keep moisture out of the system. Mine is fully automatic from 85 to 115...
I’ve done some research and discovered a wireless system to control and regulate modifications with a remote control and without pulling additional wires into the cab.
I’ve included a link to 2kooltech.com web site that has a switch I bought and installed. There’s information about their...
Stand alone system
The air compressor is the most expensive unit to this system. I went the Viair 400p because it matched the needs I was looking for. One of the downsides to have a belt driven compressor requires the motor running to access air beyond your tanks capabilities. The Viair 2 ½...
Here’s a few pictures of an onboard air system I’m finishing installing. I had a 400P Viair compressor I’ve carried around but wanted an onboard system so I purchased their 2 ½ gallon tank and mounted it in the rear in the spare tire well. I purchased an onboard hook up kit from Viair to help...
Possible roof rack bolt leak

vibration question
Hi fishin, are you saying you had the vibration only while towing or that’s when you first notice. I ask because you mentioned you are now driving between 45 and 65. So is the vibration felt without towing also?
Is the vibration felt in the steering? Have you recently been...
Conveyor attachment point
It's actually use to move the truck along during manufacturing and not cost effective to remove after assembly I was once told.
Anyone who has run dual battery and needed alternator good signal has probably resolved this question. Looking at the alternator-wiring diagram, am I correct that the alternator good wire come from the alternator to DRL junction and on to alternator warning light? So if the alternator was...
Fuse check
beachcruiser check your fuses ~ seem to remember I blew one playing the same game when I wired mine. Did ya buy the tire carrier on the drivers side so your not creating a blind spot to the passenger as some would claim. :D Nice to have a choice.
Have fun wheeling
ARB elec. tie-in
Jim here's another pic. I believe you will be useing the trailor wiring at a junction block. You keep all the lights including the lic. plate functional and this add bumper lights, turn signals, brakes along with factory setup. In the wiring loom supplied you have another...
Pic for electrical issue
I Reread my post and meant to say drill two 1/8 in holes for trailor wiring plug. Yes I did tighten tail light after checking dead center but before cover piece install. Can you post a pic when complete?
I found a good install place for high jack if interested.
Real simple to wire
It’s plug and play. On the passenger side just forward of the bumper are all the wires for tail lights, stop light and so on. Look for a plug already connected that matches you ARB plug. Disconnect and plug in your new wiring plug and everything will work. You don’t loose...
sending sensor or switch?
This sensor (switch) is for rear differential lock in low range. Doesn't affect center differential, I don't think. Some guy's run 12v to 7 pin on trans ecu to gain rear lock in high. You can check current on the switch unit and one side is hot and the other becomes...
136 ft. lbs.
Didn't have the clunk for 12 months after Slee differential bracket install. The bolt is spec to 136 lbs. Any work I do I always have Toyota repair manual at hand and all work to spec. Thank you.;p
