ive never posted pics of my manifold off the engine so while its off i took some pics for you all
its removed for a turbo upgrade (no not the huge one in the pics tho its tempting) and also to replace the gasket and retap a thread in the head that is stripped GRRRR

ive wanted to do one for about 2 years have had some parts aqquired for ages but just never got around to it
anyway i killed the head so it was off the road for around 8 weeks while i hunted for parts and turboed it in the process...
got a 1984 fj45 troopy that im working on been keen on a turbo for a few years so ive bit the bullet and set it up running around 8psi but occasionaly i can go up to 15
however after only driving it 20-30kays the clutch is slipping under boost been a while since ive driven it and i remember...

ok now i have a 1975 fj40 with a stock but supposedly rebuilt 2f however ive had some bad blowby for a while and early this week yanked the head to find a .5mm ridge on the cylnder wall 5mm from the top of the block (not good imo)
so my intentions are bore the cylnders out get oversized...

long time reader here and need some help
ive recently put 60 series power steering setup on my fj40 cruiser and then today i flipped the front springs to get some extra wheelbase (103" at the moment)
however i stuffed up slightlyand need to swap the pitman arm on the box to a flat one...
been offered this told its a detroit but i dont beleive them its 300km away so im reluctent to buy it and have it shipped
to me it looks like some king of manual locker???
any ideas
