While I'm having lockers put in should I change our gears. Seems to make sense to me. But what ratio? I'm running 33" tires and plan on staying with them. The taller tires have thrown off the accuracy of my speedo so I think that rehearing would help solve that issue as well. Opinions please.
I've been searching for Harrop/Eaton lockers for my 100. I've found part number for the rear but can't find the front locker part number. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is the 100 series fog light relay located behind the fuse block kick panel? For the life of me I can't see any thing that looks like a relay in there by the fuses. my fogs just don't come on. I've replaced the turn signal stalk and switches, put in new fuses, new bulbs, I can hear the relay...
I had that problem a couple of years ago. I simply cut a piece of hardware cloth slightly larger than the entry to the air box and pushed it in blocking the entry to the air box.
After Ayune suggested leaving the xmission and xfer case in gear I do indeed have an open diff. What I had always thought. Don't believe I have ATRAC though. 1998 LC in my driveway.
Well, tell me what diff I have. 1998 Land Cruiser, both rear wheels off of the ground, transmission and transfer case in neutral parking brake off. If I had an open diff shouldn't the rear wheels spin in opposite directions when turned manually? In my case the opposite wheel does not spin at all...
I had Wet okole's in my 95 4runner for several years here in the hot humid south and swamp butt was never an issue for me. Now that my leather is actually splitting open on my 98 LC I'm going to recover with WO's.
