    Accessory Tie Rod Steering Stabilizer?

Do you have a picture of how this is hooked up? I still have the mount on my frame, but the PO did a power steering conversion so I have no clue how to hook this up.

factory tire carrier hinge bolt size?

I'm 100% sure it is OEM hinge. I got it from my neighbor that is the original owner of his FJ and he took this off of his. AND, it looks exactly like every other hinge you will find for sale for this year.

factory tire carrier hinge bolt size?

Hey guys, I'm finally ready to install my factory tire carrier on the right hand side of the back of Elsie. I misplaced or tossed out the nut that goes in the top of the hinge. This pic shows what i'm missing. I know SOR has then for $4 but the greedy arses want $18 to ship two nuts and...

Yeah, I'm an idiot. I am going to leave this post up so someone else can find it in the future. To save face with you guys, I'll show you a picture of my newly build 350 with MSD Atomic fuel injection just to prove I'm not a complete idiot.

Door "spacer" seal, what to do???

HMMMMM, I hope so. I'll look tonight. I haven't installed them yet be I didn't have the metal part. I'll take the window stopper out of the bottom of the door, lower the glass down, install this and done. God I hope you are right, I'm stressing out over this.

Door "spacer" seal, what to do???

This is a picture of the gap I have. It's almost a half inch big. Something has to be installed into this space, but I can't find the "spacer" rubber piece on the internet or local Toyota dealer. So now what?

Door "spacer" seal, what to do???

Hey guys, i've searched and searched but nothing. I just rebuild my doors and put them on the cruiser for the first time in 18 years. they are the 1972 style that the top half slide into the top of the door. I don't have the seals that close the gap around the 2 mating parts. The factory...

Need a bell housing dust cover

Can anyone please help me source a bell housing dust cover for a 4 speed bell housing? I have a 4 speed mated to an advanced adaptor PN 712532 bell housing but the entire bottom is open. Advanced Adaptors tells me that I need to use the factory 4speed dust cover but I can't find one on...

    72 locks and key kit

OK, sorry if this has been covered, but I have spent weeks searching. I did a resto a few years back and have been driving in the good weather only. No top on and always parked in the garage. Kids are getting older and i'm ready to make this a daily driver. So i'm going to finish the hard...

    OME springs do not fit

OK guys, So all I have is 2 days before I leave town for 5 days, but this is the update. I put the drivers side spring on and that side is not nearly as bad as the passenger side. A friend sent me pictures of his cruiser with these springs on them with and without the tire on. His passenger...

How do I change my axle shims?

OK I may have read your post wrong. So you have the skinny side of the shim pointing toward your shackle. Lets assume your sprung under. 1) Chalk the rear tires, set the parking brake and put it in gear 2) jack the front up in the center of your front bumper and watch the leaf springs. Once...

How do I change my axle shims?

You should have shims to correct for longer shackles as they counteract the rotation of the axle cause by lowering one end of the spring. The thick part of the shim needs to be facing the shackle. If you are at the proper angle (look up driveline angle info and measure) the shim isn't causing...

    OME springs do not fit

The rear fenders are cut (prior owner) so the steps are actually not entering into the fender wells (if they were not cut). I'm running 33" tires. So I got the rig on the ground, and the tire didn't move back any, as the passenger side is still 2" closer to the front tire then the Drivers...
