I used stock shocks since the main reason for this medium is some lift and towing weight. I am not doing extreme articulation that requires longer shock. It all depends on what you plan to do.

Draining coolant to replace this hose and seems like it could be leaking from elsewhere as I could feel wetness on the metal hose above this rubber hose. This hose looks and feel solid.

My cruiser is leaking coolant at the clamp on the oil filter housing side so I am trying to find the part# but none of the Toyota diagram shows this hose circle in red. Anyone know this part? Thx.
Thanks for the trial- I had same problem so I clamped the belt to 2 cam pulley, remove belt tensioner, remove end cap and lift up the exhaust cam.
Pulled the shim cap and replaced with correct height after measurement. Reinstall everything without removing all the front cover, etc.... Engine...
Got the specs for valve clearance and sequence of valves/ rotation. Head bolt are still good and head is not warped. Compressions are 200+ psi on all 8 cyclinders- including the valve shim issues.
I used Perma-col which is a steel wire wound into the shape of the thread so it sits snugly inside...

Short story : #8 plug blow out, stripping the thread. I repaired with Perma coil and inserted too deep so it wasn't sealing the plug so the head had to come out. Reinstalling everything smoothly. Upon firing it has the diesel / valve tap noise that was not there before which prompt me to hit Mud...
