Thanks all. It ended up being that small black wire on the back. I didn't know it was there and couldn't see it. The nut holding the clip came came off so the wire was just dangling.
So I put a new altenator on 3 months ago and a new optima red top on last week. It sat over the weekend and when I got in to drive to work last night nothing. Something is drawing power. I had an issue with my rear driver side tire coming off a few months ago while going about 55. The cruiser...
I'm in the middle of installing my locker but I'm having an issue with the c clip's to pull the axle. I swear i've found it before but I've been searching here and can't find anything on it. How the hell do you get those off?
The video is good but so far everything lacks a good description with how to align the front bushing. The OME instructions say to mark 90 of the horizontal while the cruiser is on the ground at its new ride height. However according to the picture there is no need to have the arm on the vehical...
Sweet. Thats the exact press i'll be using and the bushing I made is exact like the slee bushing just steel instead of aluminum. I made it big enough to contact the metal sleeve so I'm not pushing on the rubber. How long did it take you?
I put my 2" OME on a couple weeks ago and am just getting the chance tomorrow to put the casters in. I have access to a 20 ton press and all the shop tools needed and I turned a press pushing at work the otherday. So my question is how long should I expect it to take, is a 20 ton going to press...
That answers the biggest question I had. I think I'd pretty well decided against a power tank or CO2 just because of the refiling. Mainly wanted to know between a puma and viair. Thanks:D
I was going to get a power tank but don't know as that I want to spend that much on one. Especially after reading about the little puma 12v compressor. I am looking at either that the viair medium duty system, CO2 tank or is it worth the 's for the power tank? I'm looking at spending...
I just put 33x12.50 duratracs on my 92 using the stock wheels and wasn't even asked about the wheel width being an issue. I actually think the stock wheels look really good with a nice 12.50 width. I also have no wheel rub and the offset ended up perfect. Right even with the fenders.
Got my fully stock 92 FJ80 in december. Just made my first upgrade to 33x12.50 DuraTracs:bounce:. I normally go with the standard BFG AT's but the DuraTracs looked like they handle mud better. Ended up testing that the next day and I am very happy with their performance. I have my 2" OME and...
Yes really. I use mine for DD to work mostly right now. Its on a main road going 60 with only a few lights that I usually don't hit and I always get 11 and my engines runs great. Thats just what they get.
I would have to agree. It looked good in the pic from 30 ft away and from the front but once you get up close its not so good looking especially from behind.
The helmets you see in DH racing aren't motorcycle helmets. There just full face MTB helmets. Most manufactures have a light weight full face helmet so. Even specialized does. They are actually quite a bit different from moto helmets. My specialized full face has venting just like a regular bike...
I haven't. Not a SS rider myself although I would like one as a 2nd or 3rd bike. I think for many condition around me they would be awsome trainning bikes. I had to mention pugsly though. I really just love the look of them. Have a ridding buddy who got one the start of this last winter.
What...
