@kreiten excellent photos!
Just a future 200-Series owner lurking this section of the forum looking for good photos of nicely built 200's - I landed on a gold mine!
Looks like there is a lot of excellent technical discussion here combined with some good comradery. Keep it up gents!
Hey Ian! Glad you made it home safe and sound and it sounds like your whole trip went pretty good. It was great to see you, the wife, and the new rig!
I cant express how clean it is. The interior looks brand new. Definitely another great find and hopefully worth the wait. You should post a...
Very cool build. Really like all the pre planning in order to have a better execution. It looks very good! Your overlanding trip doesn't look that bad either, what a nice way to "transition"... I might need to do this one day.
I'd be interested in a production run. I'll ad my personal...
And at least 20+ people north of the border want these mats to drain melted snow. haha
But in all seriousness, for the $130 Imperial dollars I just spent on these mats, I wish they stuck to their common design and extended the edge over the kick panel.
+1. I don't even mind the look as long as the rear isn't too raised up. Id be happy to lose a couple degrees of engine temp for a couple washers and a longer bolt!
Have you had the truck on the highway with the gears? Is it just screaming at 120?
I am honestly quite unhappy with the driveability of my LX with the current tire/gearing combo (stock gears). Did you think the same prior to re-gear and was it THAT much of a difference after the re-gear? Thanks
I'm not going to lie, but I am a little disappointed with the coverage near the plastic kick panel. My 3rd Gen 4Runner DigiTech mats went OVER the kick panel trim piece. Any water that would accumulate on the mat in the winter (think melted snow while snow wheeling...) would automatically exit...
Serious trail envy here Jose. Great story and pics. Your rig is so well setup, love how organized all your gear is and your preparedness for everything. This rig is the real deal, awesome build.
Black paint. Black Line X Ultra (has a clearcoat applied ontop thats UV/Fade resistant and lifetime warranty).

Not sure about the LC's exactly but on the LX's you wont have access to the back-side of all the holes. This means you cant cover those welds up and they could start to rust. I had all of the rear-accessible holes welded and used a "Muggy Weld" type product for the other holes.
After the holes...
Ian, looks sooooo good! Holy that is a mint truck and I'm super jealous of that 1HD-T. Congrats and hopefully we can bump into each other next week and check it out in person!
Front suspension near full compression. I might have been able to get it to stuff a little more if the truck wasnt empty.

No PN's yet.
I purchased them direct from DSM. I called and talked to a rep and told him I had close to 3" of lift. I am almost certain I have the 3-4" ones in the front and the 3-5.5" ones in the rear. I still have the boxes at home so I can verify later. FWIW I was at near full compression in the front...
315/75/16 MTR Kevlars. Should note, also have removed both sway bars.
I dont believe the Fox IFP's are rebuildable.... They seem like they will be a good "middle" ground though price-wise. They should hold me off until I grab the 4WU kit! HA
I just installed these shocks two days ago. My lift setup is OME 850+1/863's in the rear.
My truck had the bumpstop brackets when I bought it but I doubt they are factory. They are 2" blocks above the rear bumpstops.
Here is the truck on a forklift:
Fox IFP shocks/OME 863/850 +1" spacer...
I also ordered a set straight through WeatherTech. Time will tell, I'll get some pics up of fitment also once they land. I hope they dont take too long... ordered a pair for my Legacy GT at the same time!
Where is everyone ordering them from? Direct from WeatherTech?
I just went to do an AutoAnything order and was going to throw these mats on. They sales rep came up with the correct part # but couldnt find any available. He called WeatherTech and they said that they have a part number for them...
