So what's the consensus on this? There was a random thread on this can't find it. Does a new short block come with larger pistons? Any mpg/power improvement with a new short block?
What's the best tool/technique to install the inner bearing seal on the front hub? My tricks aren't working this time :bang: and I don't wanna destroy another seal.

Edit: I guess I could try using a long bolt/nut (like below) and use the HF seal installer I got couple years ago :hhmm:.

So these screws won't come off. They are both stripped, hard to tell from the picture. Can I put in 15K CST oil without adjusting these screws or that will make things worst?
Passenger rear hub was leaking diff fluid. Replaced both inner and outer seals yesterday. Local dealer didn't have the paper gasket so altered for FPIG. But it still leaking, WHY? I did tip off the diff fluid...any idea?

I just did a AC recharge using the A/C Pro recharge kit (134a) from autozone. Air got cooler but noticed condensation on evaporator tube that goes into the passenger side firewall. Did I just screw something up? Does this mean it's leaking :frown:?

I've got 150 amp sequoia alternator with smaller pulley and beefier cables. Shouldn't I be seeing 14.0 volt? How do I troubleshoot? It fluctuates from 12.9 to 13.7 right now in normal driving condition.

So far so good. I have the fan set to low temp so it comes on at ~= 186. Shuts off at 185. Temperature seems to hold between 185 and 192 degrees at stop and go and highway driving. I will probably play with the temp settings later, right now it seems like the fan is always on. Will see how it...
