I have done this as well - Just know that the non-star tools can pull the battery down below where they should - so when you get to one bar left, pull the battery for charging.
And for road riders, I am a fan of Neuvation's wheels. I am a Clydesdale, and ride with a couple of others. They are the only production wheel that I can recommend. I even have a set for Cross.
As for MTB wheels, you just have to step up one style of riding: If you do XC get a set of Freeride...
I have seen the fuel pickup filters degrade over time to where they just block the flow of fuel needed to run the engine. This is especially confusing on a motor that has the primer bulb. You can see and feel the gas, its starts and dies.
I also have had problems because I mix my fuel a bit...
I think I am confused. One of the Cruiser's I owned, I turned down the brake drum hub to a seal size 1 down from the OEM size. But I thought the reason I picked the seal size was that it was OEM on a later assembly....
There are 2 different Tcase brake shaft diameters, with 2 different corresponding seal diameters. I would get out a claiper and measure it and make sure you have the right seal combo.
Also - I always used sealant on the back of the big washer in order to seal the splines. Its usually only a...
No - I mean pop up or down from weld distortion.
I did an over the cab contractors rack, and had a problem with it. I ended up adding flat bar to push the expanded metal backup, but it wasn't from the load.

Or anyone else with good fab tips on using it.
Jim

It has a new battery, new front brakes, recent radiator flush and generally in good running condition. IIRC Tires are ATKO's
The body is...
I have a 1962 WHaler - like Cruisers they will go forever with a bit of work.
The IH8mud of the Whaler world is a site called Continouswave.com - I haven't been there in a long time, but you can get all the info you need there.
It depends on your drivetrain. I think the key element is that the mount should allow the same amount of movement as is present in the other drivetrain mounts. Too ridgid and something will crack.
It was red. I ran into him on the Fordyce trail before I moved up here in 97. Mark had a red 40, and it was the first time I had seen both the dshbox (which I own now) and a spare carrier using a working spindle, birf and lockout hub.
I have had mine for at least 7 years now and it is...
