Probability is increasing, I need a new windshield and Pagosa is very expensive for that, not sure on Durango, but in the past ABQ has been a lot cheaper
So you need this to get to Albuquerque from Durango or to Durango?
I might be headed to Albuquerque next week or the week after, I live in Pagosa Springs
yesterday I add a Lensun Solar panel to my Tacoma. The fridge in the back was draining the battery down in the hot weather and since we have so much sun shine, I thought solar. I still might need an extra battery. Today it was cloudy, t-stroms coming, but 93 degs and the fridge did shut down...
Here is what we know now, they put a stethoscope to one of the bearings of an idler pulley, and it was really noisy, a bad grinding noise, so new idler pulleys, replacing all of them, are on order.
I kind of did that, I cleaned out the reservoir multiple times to the tune of a quart after put in new fluid and then turned the steering wheel 10 times either side, then drained and refilled and kept repeating.
Found a shop in Durango that is looking at it tomorrow. so we hope to find out...
Thanks for the reply, but I don’t think the Toyota dealer in Durango is a very good shop. They did not do well most times in my eyes, the 10-12 times my 2020 Tacoma was in there. I admit part of it was Toyota corporate, but they could of done better.
looking for a good shop for a 2015 GX460, wine noise coming from the front end. shop here said it was a power steering pump, they replaced it with a Lexus pump, but they didn't clean the reservoir. so today I cleaned out the reservoir and R & R the fluid using a quart. Noise is still there...
Not a lot of room to put a stethoscopes down in there to listen without hitting something and I don’t need to brake something else.I took out the power steering reservoir and completely cleaned it out and add new fluid cause even though they just change the power steering pump that fluid was black.
The girlfriend’s GX460 has a wined coming from the front of the engine. The local shop said it was the power steering pump, replaced that and the belt, noise is still there. Guessing it could be a pulley, but the local shop says we got a bad pump, so I want someone else to look at it.
What...
I would think so also, but all I got told was I need to bring the vehicle to them, that they can’t guarantee that they will fix it under warranty.
I am not making a special 4 hour trip to just have them look at it and then maybe another for them to fix it. I also asked about fixing the seat...
