Actually I got his ad mixed up with something else....so I don't know if it is a t-18.
I slept on it and decided against it...but a running/rolling 55 for $4500 seems to be very very good.

Wheres LaPine? That one looks nice too.
T-18 with granny low and LC t-case..... O.K. you cruiserheads approx. what will be the final Crawl Ratio if it has stock diffs. I'm thinking of changing to a camping 4x4 that has more cargo room than my old 4Runner but I really love my 80:1 crawl and...
Strange he's not on ih8mud.
I wonder what the tranny is? Its a 71 so the 3spd has been swapped but with what......a later model 4spd or something else and did he keep the original t/c with lower ratio or did he swap that at the same time with the 4spd?
A 350 in a 55 engine bay.....wonder...
Do you have a forge? Your going to need very "even" heat especially with such thin material.
I'm not a metallurgist but I have done some very basic Blacksmithing. Like drawing out and re-pointing Picks and chisels.
Blue is brittle
Yellow is tempered

I wouldn't be dissapointed with that articulation. Better than alot. I've seen way worse on the V. You should see my IFS Runner...its as stiff as a plank.

1) The one I use is the 1/2 ton. If you have a large engine bay or a V8 it might be better
to get the next size up because they run cooler at idle than my gas 4 banger.
2) It cost $100 10 years ago. Its still good and hasn't corroded and the hose clamped
connections are not...
Heres a sample. Coolant(hot antifreeze) flows thru the large inlets. Cold water source flows thru the small outlets. You need at least an exchanger with 2 1/2 or 3 loops. Use a shower head that you can adjust the flow......the more you restrict the flow the hotter the output and vice versa.
Co-axial heat exchanger is what you want from a Refridgerator Supply house like Langley Refridgeration across from Save-on on 64th. Range from $100- 200. They are classified by size by "Tons" Size you want for a normal shower flow is a 1/2 or 2/3 ton. Any bigger and it would be too hot...
He talking about an electric MileMarker which they purchase from China and put their sticker on it......the hydraulic is an entirely different animal (made in USA).
The hydraulic milemarker may be slow but it will run all day while everyone elses is overheating or burning out.

I work July Long. Just saying one of these days I'd like to do the full Windy Ridge trip with a small group.
The sister peaks of Crowfoot Mountain and Grizzly(Mobley or Fowler) are on the north shore of Shuswap Lake. Trail is as hard as you make it. Skidoo cabins and historic Fire...
