    And to add, the stock tach can be driven by adding a Dakota digital tach adapter to boost the signal and convert the 4 count coming out of the gm pcm to the correct 3 count that the Toyota tach needs to read accurately. The signal boost is needed and the Dakota box serves this purpose nicely.

    bulhas - pm me your email and I will share the pin out sheet I created to help me with my swap in my old '94 LC. Most of the info carries over except for the whole TCM bit. The pin out will help determine the wires for the IH1 and IH2 connectors and match the wires to the GM harness.
