I have a pair of 100 series running boards for sale. They are taken from my '99 and are in very good condition.
Will post pics if anyone is interested.
I also have a set of stock (size) tires. They are Toyo open countries and have a good amount of tread left on them. They would make a...
man screw that light. Mine went out about 6 months ago and the other day I was driving in 2 and I couldn't believe I ever drove with that stupid D light on. The freakin thing is blinding at night.
Leave it out- you won't miss it in a week.
Try some of the links on this page. It's straight from apple. The second link takes you to one that sells an ipod adapter for stock toyota stereos. Just read the application guide and it will get you the right part number.

Running Boards from my 1999 LC. They are in good condition and I have all the bolts.
Don't really know what they are worth so make me a reasonable offer.
I live in SE Virginia and would rather not ship, but will at buyers expense.
I also have 4 Toyo tires I don't need anymore. They...
GET ONE! It's a decision you won't regret! Had mine going on 3 years now and LOVE it. I've tried parting with it twice and can't go through with it. For a daily driver you can't beat it (save the gas mileage). For off road, you can't beat it. It truly is a remarkable machine. I have over...
Last week my left front speaker (the one by the window) started buzzing. At first I thought *crap* blown speaker (which it is), but after further investigation the buzzing sound NEVER stops unless you turn off the stereo. Another thing that concerns me is the buzzing increases pitch when I hit...
I've got a 99 and started noticing the same thing a few months ago. I just had the Transmission checked out and asked them to check that thump and they told me it had absolutely nothing to do with the transmission and it was nothing serious. Possibly a U-Joint I think they said.
Anyway...
I have a 99 with 131K miles and those RPM's sound about right. Mine are around that range at those speeds and when you turn the overdrive off they shoot up to about 3K.
Why cut anything? I have a 99 and there is a button that put's the antenna up and down. If you lower it all the way it won't go up when you turn on the radio and you won't get the noise problem.
I don't see why you would want to cut wires. You may want to use the radio some day!
I've got a '99 and I have to get right up on the thing to lock and unlock the doors with the FOB.
Anyone else have this problem?
If so, do I need a new battery for the FOB or to replace the whole thing.
Has anyone had any success replacing their FOB with one from eBay or a used one...
After a few months of careful deliberation, my wife has agreed to keeping our cruiser, a 99 100 series.
She bought a new vehicle and we were going to sell the cruiser, I would have been stuck with a heep instead. However, after a few months of having the jeep around she realized the cruiser...
If it were up to me, the cruiser would be staying. If I had the money I'd keep her. I REALLY do love the cruiser just can't handle both payments. When the wife got the GMC it put us over the top. The HEEP is paid for. I'll be looking for an FJ soon enough!
