    Events/Trails Tucson Monthly Meeting

Whats up guys, its been a while since I've logged in here. Just peaking in to say hey. This year is 20yrs of owning my 80 and it's time to let it go. I'll get a sale thread going soon but if anyone is interested give me shout. I think there's still a link to it in my sig line.

    Durabak-ed my 80 this weekend

Needed to log in and revive this old thread. After 16 years in the Arizona sun, the Durabak really needs a touch up. I had to dig up my old thread to find out how much I used the first time so I can order the right amount. Looks like I should be able to lay down a good recoat with 1 gallon...

    You've been spotted

It would be really cool if you guys would stop taking pics while driving. You're phone should not be in your hand while driving. Just saying.

Feed up with your crappy 80 series battery mount? We have a fix

"Fixing" the crappy mount was one of the first things I did after our Kokopelli trip, @LandCruiserPhil. Mines not quite as pretty but my batteries have never budged again.

Going to pull the trigger on this tomorrow in Tucson.. Anyone familiar with it?

Unfortunately I don't check the forum very often. Did you get the rig? I'd be happy to check it out with you.

93 Alarm removal (step by step w/pics)

I had the same thing. Instead of two crimps under the steering column there was one. The other was crimped in to a plug behind the ecu in the kick panel. Despite the pics being gone, this is the best thread for removal of the alarm. I read 4 different threads last night and went with this one...

How long were you in the military quiz

I didn't even make my rack everyday when I was in. I had a bottom rack that folded up. I never make my bed at home. I served 4 and it guessed 4.

A Plethora of symptoms, all at once.

The Enviro-Safe refrigerant was easy peasy to use. Like Spike said, 2 cans and done. Nice cold A/C again.

A Plethora of symptoms, all at once.

I was just looking at their website. Definitely want to use this stuff. I've never messed with AC before. Since you've been spoon feeding me good info here, are you willing to point me to the correct manifold/hoses I should be using? Something that works with the Envirosafe canisters. Anything...

    EBC pads on an 80

I've been using EBC Greenstuff pads on my 80 for a long time. I'd say at least 10yrs. I like them just fine. OEM rotors.
