Needed to log in and revive this old thread. After 16 years in the Arizona sun, the Durabak really needs a touch up. I had to dig up my old thread to find out how much I used the first time so I can order the right amount. Looks like I should be able to lay down a good recoat with 1 gallon...
Saw a full on built 200 the other day in Marana. orange beadlocks (or fake locks, couldnt get close enough), snorkel, roof rack, bumpers sliders the whole works. I was in my 80 heading east on Ina.
"Fixing" the crappy mount was one of the first things I did after our Kokopelli trip, @LandCruiserPhil. Mines not quite as pretty but my batteries have never budged again.
I had the same thing. Instead of two crimps under the steering column there was one. The other was crimped in to a plug behind the ecu in the kick panel.
Despite the pics being gone, this is the best thread for removal of the alarm. I read 4 different threads last night and went with this one...
