From the FSM, brake section:
PARKING BRAKE LEVER
ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. CHECK PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL
Pull the parking brake lever all the way up, and count the num-
ber of clicks.
Parking brake lever travel at 196 N (20 kgf, 44 lbf):

If incorrect, adjust the parking brake.
I started my cruiser one cold morning and when I turned on the heater I got the vibration from hell in the blower motor. I immediately knew what it was since I had seen mouse droppings on the top of the radiator and battery. When I pulled out blower there he was, beaten to death, poor little...
Regarding cable size, it isn't really that important. When you are jumping starting a car the cables are mostly charging the battery rather than powering the starter. The battery powers the starter. Smaller gage cables may just take a few more minutes to get the batttery charged enough to power...
Ok, I guess I'll be the one to ask about the armrests:
How do the arm rests stay in place? I looked on their website and saw the metal flange that slips in by the window seal but how does the rest attach, sticky tape?
They look like a really good idea to me, as long as they can be mounted...
It's possible that the brake pedal plunger is sticking in the master cylinder. Has the brake fluid been regularly serviced? Is the fluid clear or dark colored?
There is a thread on how to repair the module to fix this issue. The repair worked on mine. Only 20 cents worth of parts. If you can solder you can probably fix it. I still have a couple of the componants if you need one.
Sorry I don't know how to link the thread but this is the title:
Fix for...
The bottom caliper bolt (sliding pin) has a rubber dampener sleeve on it to help keep the caliper from rattling and vibrating between braking operations. It is normal for the caliper to be hard to move by hand.
If I remember correctly the rears have o-rings so it shouldnt be held in by too much rust. I'd try twisting rather than pulling to free it up. Once you can twist it then it would probably be safe to pry a little while twisting to free the o-ring then it should come out.
I would say that is about normal. Your splines are probably fine. How is the condition of the circlip groove? It should have clean sharp edges with no burrs on the outer side to keep the clip in place.
Do you know how to pull the axle out to measure, select and fit a new clip?
That is gear lash in the diff. Nothing to be concerned about. It is the spline lash you want to inspect. With both wheels on the ground look under the truck where the axle goes into the back of the knuckle while a trusted helper shifts it into drive and reverse. You will see the play, if any. It...
Import Driver, you might want to try breaking that speed sensor loose while you are in there. It may save you a ton of work in the future if you ever want to pull the knuckle assy to remove an axle, etc.
Tapping with a wood dowel and hammer is a safe method but it it feels stubborn, you're...
Maybe they torched off the old shock because the nut was frozen. That might leave burnt rubber residue in the area of the upper shock mount.
You could ask them if they did.....
