Hey gahi... thanks again for the stickers. I'm really happy with mine and I think this is a no brainer for anyone locking to replace a broken or missing rear badge.
drwapenshaw... after doing some more research this may interest you. In the event that you do not want your sub to cut out at higher volumes and/or want to replace your other speakers you can go this route http://www.crutchfield.com/p_142LOC80/Scosche-LOC80.html for the sub specifically. This...
Great info here... i've got a 2004 ML with factory nav and climate controls. Just got off tech support with crutchfield and it looks like the line output converter is a legit option for me to keep all the factory controls AND add an aftermarket amp, sub, and speakers. Thanks for the heads up!
So CanadianRockyCruiser are you running the Alpine PDX-5 and the OEM Mark levinson amp at the same time? My understanding was that the factory amp was used for some of the NAV and climate controls so removing it completely was not an option. If you are running both how did you wire the Alpine...
Do you happen to know if you can go after market for just the stereo but keep the OEM amp for the nav and MTD? That's what I'm having trouble figuring out.
Man this is great! Thanks for digging around for this... I hadn't seen that you posted more info until just now. Much appreciated! I'm also thinking through some other amp related stereo issues right now so this will give me something to chew on. Thank again!:beer::beer:
Thanks man... that should work from what I've been reading. I've also been having some issue with my touchscreen (MTD = multitouch display?) not working quite right which potentially is an amp issue also.
So is it worth trying to replace the stock amp or go your route and get all new? The guys at Crutchfield have told me that because of the stock setup it's better to try and find used ML speakers then go aftermarket with the stock amp. I'd like to replace the lot. Any advice particularly...
Hey guys... I'm interested in adding another amp (next to the OEM ML amp) so I can replace all my speakers. Is there another thread with more specific information? Thanks!
I have the exact same issue. I get no sound from any speakers after a bluetooth call until turning off the ignition BUT the problem is intermittent. Looking for help!
