90% sure that this is my land cruiser that I bought from the second owner out of Colorado back in 2010. I did a full mechanical restoration on mine and it was great truck! Nice to see it again
Ok lets say its fine for sake of the question. Im not worried about 500 for a new radiator in the scheme of a full restoration. With what these are selling for these days Im considering this might save some cash in the long run if I can get it cheap.
So my father in laws neighborhood gets a HJ45 from his brothers estate recently. Running and driving and in decent shape. Definitely some bondo but appears to have limited rust. Frame (was) in great shape as well. He was moving it around and the brakes went out and he rolled through a fence...
So I decided to document my process over the last 6 months or so and give lots of pictures along the way. I made a thread a while ago about how I bought my 40 and 5 days later the engine locked up and soon discovered it was trashed. Trashed being a relative term....it was just completely...
Gave up on the mud terrains, just bought the bf goodrich all terrains in that size instead. Took me 2 weeks but got a guy from discount to find some for me. The all terrains are on national back order too. Aparently bf goodrich is not having a problem selling tires.
that would make sense...i can't find these tires anywhere. So here is my delima now. Im putting on the 2.5 in ome lift and keeping the stock steelies with hubcaps. Should I put 33x10.5 all terrains on or 31x10.5 mud terrains on. Both BF goodrich. Thoughts?
i dont think he is on here... thanks a lot guys. look forward to meeting some of you. edwin is about to pull the motor either today or tomorrow so hopefully i can be driving her soon.
