hard rock cycle park in Ocala area so close to both coasts really. it was always a fun time, when we can line up everyones rigs working at once. hopefully we can get a nice showing. I think in the past its been the weekend before thanksgiving
it is almost the time of year when turkey trot gets discussed maybe if we plan the dates early enough we can get good turnouts like we had a few years back. Just got my 60 reregistered and she's back driving around. Hope to be able to make it to turkey trot this year is something gets planned.
Yea I agree worth the transport on a trailer. I'm driving from Tampa to golden and was gunna offer to drive it but 600 to put no miles on your car is a good deal. Good luck

The previous owner had it built perfect he just didn't street drive as much as I want to. Guess it'll be time to bite the bullet and save up for an h55

After talking to P.O. this morning he confirmed what many said that I had the gear ratio off. He put 4.88 gears in. Some peice of mind I'm closer to speed the chart says. Thanks guys that website is great too by the way.

I have an 87 with stock 4speed. Regeared by P.O. with 4.10s. It has ARB lockers and is currently sitting on 37s. I am getting about 55 mph at about 3200 rpm. I don't understand much about gearing but everything I read seems to say I should be able to get at least 65 with that set up. Is thwre...

nice find on the bumper. I just read through this thread and alway was wondering about the backing plate eliminators. Did you use the ones from marlin crawler with the longer brake lines.

I would vote for speaker too. I dont think the heat from outside temperature would be melting anything. On mine it was the return spring, which I dont see in your picture, its been a while so i cant be 100% sure, but maybe on the other side. Send a picture of the other side of that lock...
