2003 Toyota Land Cruiser Overland 4x4 Rig FULLY BUILT
This is an amazing, fully built 100 series 2003 Land Cruiser that I've owned for over 3 years and has never let me down. I've used it as my daily driver and mild camping rig. I've not even come close to pushing this truck to what it's...
Anybody have a solid suggestion on where to get a new engine control computer at a reasonable price for a 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser? Used would be fine, just not looking to pay for a new one from Toyota.
Thanks

1978 FJ40 Landcruiser
I’ve owned this truck since Oct 2012 . I purchased it in the Norcal area from a guy who had owned it for 18 years and spent a ton of time and money making this truck ready for anything.
Unfortunately I’m moving again and just can’t keep shipping it. I don’t have the...
Gentlemen
I purchased a cruiser with aftermarket rear disc brakes and was told they are GM. Is there a standard year range or make for this mod? I need to replace the pads and rotors, and knowing standard parts will be helpful.
Help?

Hey guys, I'm looking to have the rear sill replaced on my 1978 FJ40 and then have the interior Linexed. I can't seem to find anyone to take my money and do the work! I've been to multiple body shops in town and nobody is interested.
I have the replacement part from CCOT and will likely...
Hey guys, new to the area and looking for a MILD place to take the FJ40 and the family for a day of exploration. Really just focused on back country roads and mild trails. If we get the truck in 4 wheel drive so be it...
Suggestions? The 40 is reliable, but I don't like to put it on the...
Hey guys, quick question:
1978 FJ40 Original 6 cycle motor
Starts fine (pull choke) for first start of the day, however after driving around town and getting warm, it will start right up, run for 4 or 5 seconds and then die. The cruiser will start back up if I push the gas all the way to the...
I'm looking to change out the fluid in the differentials of my 78 FJ40 equipped with ARB air lockers front and rear and would like to insure I'm not missing any special additive or requirements based on the lockers.
Per the ARB link below, it appears that SAE90 is GTG...
Offroad camper with a bunch of little extras. Use it like it’s built or continue to tinker on this awesome setup. My wife and I have camped a ton in this rig. Very light, I’ve pulled behind my FJ40 many times. Performs well with the articulating hitch.
Built on a Tough Terrain Trailer...
1999 Toyota Landcruiser (E-Locker) located in Stafford VA
213K and still running strong!
I purchased this LC in 2010 from a Toyota dealership and it has been an
excellent truck. We are changing our adventure platform to something
slightly larger (Sprinter van) or this would not be for...
Recently I replaced the CD player in my 1978 FJ 40 (old one would not play cd any longer, but did not have power problems). The new CD player was cutting in and out with acceleration or when i would hit any switches.
I took the cruiser to a stereo shop and they said the alternator was...
So I swapped out an existing JVC CD player that was no longer playing CDs for an entry level Kenwood. Everything seemed to go well with the swap until I tried to drive.
Te CD player seems to loose power when I hit the gas, brakes or lights... They all seem to negatively affect the unit...
Well... I replaced both of the water temp sensors on my 78 2f and still no temp gauge. The gauge registers just below the C on the cluster and never gets any higher. Suggestions for the next thing to check?

Took the 40 out with some buddies for some snow wheeling and camping in Tahoe. We went about 7 miles up fordyce road off 80 by Truckee. This was really my first trip with this 40 and it did great pulling my adventure trailer.
Check it out! Spent the day working on the 40 with good friends. More to do, but that is the fun part.
