    BJ74 clutch slave cylinder discontinued

I ended up placing an order and had it sent to another supplier in the states that will throw it in with my next order with them instead. Will work out a heap cheaper $90 is crazy to send that to Australia. To send it from here back to the states it would cost about $35 aus.

All good. Found the site and ordered one. You need to look into your international postage rates. They're absurd to say the least.

40 Series Land Cruiser Winch Fairleads

Hi, following on from Cruzila making his LC Bezel Fairleads (found here) 10 years ago i've decided to go ahead and make my own FJ40 Bezel inspired Custom Winch Fairleads. CNC Machined from solid 6061 Aluminium. Drawn up by myself and made here locally in Melbourne. They run the standard 10" gap...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

nah definitely no 60 series power steer mate. Got factory 55 power steering and DAMN is it good! Front end probably is a bit stiff but i'm fairly happy with how it drives. Good point about the shocks being the bumpstops. That's something that i most definitely will have to have a better look at...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

been a while since i've done anything on here, but finally got a chance to take it out wheeling last weekend. Other than the 2F being pretty sad the whole thing went really well. Lockers work a treat, handles the mud with ease and flexes 10x better than my ute! Only downside is i have HORRIBLE...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

yep picked up 5125's from the states. Took bloody ages to arrive. 33-185569 x 2 and 33-230351 x 2. Not quite sure if you'll be able to run the rear shocks in the pig because of the length. The fronts in a pig are the same as 60 series where they have the post at the top, so to keep the shockies...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

sadly i'm still waiting on my rear locker to be done. On the plus side the bilsteins are in! I have plans for one day replacing my roof. The inside of the rest of my roof was good but i sprayed the crap out of all of it with rust convertor etc. Should slow it down for a while :)

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

The hubs on the 80 and the HZJ75 are the same width, take the same bearings etc etc. Its just the Wheel mounting part that is in a further offset position. So the axles needed should be the same as the 70 series. Same as when you do the IFS hubs on the front (which i also did) Yep - front seat...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

actually it's funny you say that because when i was putting it all together i noticed that that "dog bone" was clearly not long enough. But i figured it must have been the aftermarket shoes just simply being not quite right. So to solve that problem i just got some sheet metal and folded it...

    3D printing

I have about 8 of these badges here. I drew one up in autodesk inventor with the intention of getting it 3D printed. Just got a bit hung up on the lettering.... So far it looks really good but i'm also toying with the idea of reproducing them with molds. I've made a couple of great silicon...

Finally got my hands on a pig! 79 Model bog stock

oh yeah, came across another pig in a local wreckers. It was a fully optioned 79 model. Aircon, power steering with a great interior, 60 series 5 speed and disc brake front. Took heaps off it for spares before it went to the scrappers. Still have to go back and attack it again to get the...
