Hi everybody. I have had an unexpected family situation that pushes all of this to the back burner.
All prayers for my wife right now, everything else will be dealt with in time.
Thank you for your understanding.
Well I would say $25 for the wiper motor, but only if you can point out the terminals so I can make sure it works first.
I would say $10 for door linkage, but if you want the wiper motor too, call it $5.
My preference is that Mudders get a chance to get anything they need reasonably. I have received a lot of help here so you get first dibs.
Everything else will likely end up on fleabay. I am sure there are a few things here that can help folks out.
I can't say that I know what everything here...
OK, next problem..
I had to ditch the emissions era exhaust manifolds on the mid 70's Chevy crate motor I am running. There was an extended wing on the drivers side for accessory mounting that was in the way of the relocated PS pump.
After putting on the new manifolds, I found that the PS pump...
I have transplanted an FJ62 front axle, and bought the 62 front shaft. Now I need the front shaft for the 55. This should give me all of the parts to marry together for a functional front driveshaft for my SOA pig.
You should check their site to be sure, but the GPS speedo is one of the reasons I went with this setup.
Take a look at their "speedbox", this converts gps, can bus, transmission, or ECM to your mechanical speedo. SpeedBox™ Mechanical Cable Drive Converter
I weighed the Speedhut option versus a nice set of Autometer gauges, and for the extra $150ish I went for the Speedhut.
Maybe it's just me, but as popular as they are I have never like under dash gauge panels. These fit the stock gauge locations and work fine with a Chevy drivetrain, unlike my...
Another present from brown Santa today. I have been waiting about 5 weeks to get these in.
I found the TEQ logo with the rising sun and figured that would make a nice gauge face. I can't wait to see these at night (indiglow).
I am going to disassemble my worst 4 doors and keep the parts, as I have no room to store them whole.
Is there anyone in the bay area who would want the shells of these old beat doors with welded on hinges? I figure they are scrap, but if someone has been thinking about a 1/2 door project...
These are the 4 rust-ole-um blue colors that are available in a satin finish at my local Home Labyrinth.
From left to right:
1) Oasis blue satin
2) Wildflower blue satin
3) Sapphire satin
4) Midnight blue satin
The blue on the left is almost a little teal, but its growing on me. The navy blue...
I had time to make a few changes this week.
1) Removed the tiller. I think it looks nice with an early 80 series wheel (pre airbag)
2) Ditched the old sealed beams for new Hella's with H4 bulbs
3) Thinking about the new color. I want to go blue & white, so here are the 4 blue colors available in...
I will have to look into the VIN, not really sure. I had not considered extend the frame.. the only issue I see there is that the bumper is going to be waay out front. I am going to have to mock it up and see how it looks.
Ok, here is my dilemma. Gary's work on the outboarded springs is perfect, I don't want to change a thing.
Unfortunately the new bumper wants the 4 holes on the side and the 4 holes on the top for each side. Access to the second set of side holes is nonexistent. This bumper is getting a 10k...
Well, progress has been made. First a few pics as she sits after a visit to Mudrack.
This got the axles and steering sorted, the power steering correctly mounted, new shock mounts all around, and a surprise. He made art out of my old rear bumper. This is something we discussed, but wasn't on my...
