After returning from the Rubicon, I finally got sick of the usual cooler annoyances. Having to deal with the size, weight, ice, etc.... and all the other problems a cooler brings. Everyone has been there! So I went back to my old stomping grounds at Sportsmans and had a friend special order...
The 80 is back and running. Ive spent a LOT of time working on this truck making sure everything was done the right way.
I think it turned out great and I'm extremely happy to have my Cruiser back.
Decided that I'm going to put a small lift on the Tacoma. Its so low that its hard to get under the vehicle just to change the oil! Also, not to mention when going out on the trails.
I was looking at the lift that Slee offers, and was wondering if anyone had any advice or...

I have a set of gears that Ive been wanting to install in my 96 FZJ80 complete with install kits. I'm hoping to install 5.29's in my 86 4 runner and was curious if the 8" high pinion gear install kit would work on installing a set of gears in my low pinion 8" 4cyl diff?
I grabbed a universal horn from autozone today, but ran into a problem. The wire to the horn is constantly hot no matter what. The steering wheel isnt the issue cause I disconnected that and it still has power. If I connect the horn it will just continuosly beep.
Others have said it sounds...

Any ideas why it is staying hot?
The high steer on the runner uses 80 series tie rod ends. Problem is the factory steering on the 80 doesnt use a jam nut, so they dont come with them. R&E fasteners doesnt have anything that will fit either, so I'm curious if anyone knows of a place in town that might have a fine thread metric...
I have a quick question on what shackles to use for my 86 4 runner.
I have a set of 5" front leaf TG springs, and I'm using the TG frame tube kit. How do you know what shackles to use other than trying a set and seeing if you need to go longer or shorter? I dont want to buy a set only to...

I have an axle hosuing from an 85 pickup. Basically I'm in need of a bunch of parts.... Right now I have the housing, spindles, and bare knuckles. 60 series hubs will work also, so if anyone has a 60 axle they dont mind parting.
Axle is going under an 86 4 runner. I was told the caliper...

YJ on tons, XJ, Sami on yota axles, and my 80.
The 80 surprised the fellas. It flexed and climbed through stuff they thought it couldnt touch, especially being open/open.
The pictures are all in random order cause i got them from a friend and or...
I was hoping to be the owner of a nice 86 white 4 runner last wednesday. I called a guy in south lake and talked to him for quite some time about his truck. We planned on meeting in Carson on wednesday afternoon to check out the truck and buy it. I had cash in hand and the flat bed trailer...
Slowly working on the rear bumper for the 80.
.250 plate for the mounts and .250 square tubing for the reciever. Going to support the wings to the frame with some square tubing also.
Decided its time to start a new project. I was talking to my dad the other day about how Ive been wanting to build a trail dedicated rig, but I dont have the space at my house. He said that sounds like a fun project and something that he would like to get involved in. So the two of us are...

I like the look of these, and theres a summit racing in my town, so I just need to see if these will work. Or if anyone has experience with them?
