I have an excellent condition aluminum checker plate tailgate for an FJ40. I used it during the summers for a few years. This was bought new from Spector.

I am attaching pictures of the forward facing jump seats that were made by a gentleman many years ago for several of us with 40s. I pulled them out of my parts stash today. I used them for my kids for 10 years before removing them. They are heavy duty. Each seat weighs about 30 pounds. They fold...
There was a guy in Rathdrum, ID that made a very sturdy version of forward facing jump seats for the FJ40 many years ago. They mounted on the side wheel wells, folded together in the center or up and out of the way on the sides. I used a set for a decade for my kids when they were small. I...
Het Matt, thanks! I got the housing and bolts. I installed them today and followed the procedure above, except I used a very thin layer of Permatex thermostat gasket maker to both sides of each gasket. Torqued to spec @ 18 in-lbs and 12 in-lbs for block and housing bolts. I also used Permatex...

I know I have posted before about the quality of these lines and fit, but I just got in the new '79 to '84 lines for the rest of my rig.
And they are impressive. I snapped a few pics of the superb quality box and packing, as well as the labeling and instruction booklet. Top notch all the way...
My 2 cents. I received all the front brake lines for my stock '82 FJ40 (2.5 OME lift). They came well boxed and looking great. Once I wrestled the old lines off, the new lines went on in about 30 minutes total. Perfect fit, no drips, and they look good. I reused all of my original clips and...
