    Hi All, I am up for a front end suspension/steering rebuild on '93 LC FJ80. It's got about 253K miles. A mechanic from a generic tire and wheel place inspected it a couple years ago, indicated sway bar, bushings, links, control arm, front shocks, struts, other bushings all needed urgent work...

    I've got an odd "ratcheting" or "whirring" like noise that last a few seconds, maybe 2-3 times a day. Sounds like it's coming from: under, passenger side, front. Only occurs when vehicle is in motion. Not when braking. The ABS light also comes on/off but not at exact same time the noise occurs...

    Someone please remind me how to manually move front seats back when motor is broken. Thought it was a 12mm allen bolt. I can't find that thread. Does anyone have a photo and which direction to turn to move seat back?

    Removing rear jump seats

    FJ80 jump seats Glad I looked here and found they are designed to slide out without wrenching. Is there any demand for LC owners who want to purchase these now that I removed my jump seats? I'll search but thought I'd ask here while I'm on this thread.

I got one in the drivers side...it's a little too long. And the plastic thread where bolt goes into was cracked. I did the best with gorilla glue to fix...

    The guy at the car wash is very short. He moved the seat all the way forward and now it will not move forward or back. Every other adjustment still works. How do you manually move the seat back?

    elusive struts I'm trying to solve this problem as well. The SUSPA struts are $90 each on their website. Anyone else try this solution.
