    ok interesting. from what i have read a 1fz is very reliable until around 200k. which is usually a blown head gasket. after that they say you are good for a another couple hundred miles. am i off?

    Yeah that's not good man. I just went through this at 200k miles. I blew a head gasket. It's pretty common. Take your cruiser to get your computer read if you check engine light is on.
