Crap! been looking for a bumper for my rebuild. I've got a date to take some parts to the media blasters on Saturday.

If you had the head off i'd bet money its the head gasket. If it gets put on bakcwards the one oil passage hole gets blocked. pain in the butt, but it happens. If you have oil at the headbolt and not the rockers i'd bet headgasket.
He did run the machine with and without the additives. The synthetic had a slight airation to it, but the lucas sent it into a froth. Yes the oil climbs, but at what cost. Airatted oil runs hotter then unairatted oil. The same thing happens with the countertop sample, i've done it myself. Crank...
