Morning all - quick question/request - can anyone assist in providing a part number for the white plastic hood support "stay"/"retainer"/"holder"? See pic where my finger is pointing. Surprised it lasted as long as it did! 1990 FJ62.
Morning Mud (at least it is morning in Eastern Oregon!)
Not mine, no affiliation - was just in Boise this past weekend and could have checked it out but sadly it's about 3 hours from me so I can't assist.

Not sure what all is going on, as it has had some work...
This might be "chat", but wanted to share - I've been watching this auction with some interest, as the condition of the rig for sale here is close to my own '85 (under 100k miles, rebuilt 2F, true "survivor", etc.).
While it is somewhat exciting to see a 60 series fetch $37,500, it is also a...
Not mine, no affiliation- looks pretty nice - grab it before you see it flipped on BAT!

Just wanted to share - picked up a 1990 FJ62 this last Friday night, and spent the weekend going through her.
Selling family had purchased in 2007 from the Walla Walla, WA, Toyota Dealer, and both high school boys drove her for approximately 40k miles; family was moving, kids were gone...
Swapping out my tires to the studded winter tires and had the rig on the jack, noticed that the fronts don't spin "freely" - seems similar to when you don't have the drum brakes set correct, where it spins but sounds like the brakes are slightly "dragging".
Is this brake related? Bearings...
I posted in the Wheels/Tires for sale section as well; looking for OEM lugnuts for a 60/62 series.
So far as I am aware, they are the same between the 60 and 62, but I have an August '85 60 if it matters any.
They don't have to be super clean, as I'll put them in the re-loading brass polisher...
Just throwing this out there - looking for OEM lugnuts for a 60/62 series.
So far as I am aware, they are the same, but I have an August '85 60 if it matters any.
They don't have to be super clean, as I'll put them in the re-loading brass polisher, but would prefer them not to be too buggered up.
Seeking a clean and unbroken headlight washer reservoir to replace the cracked one I have; this is from my August of 85 FJ60 but I am not certain if the different model years have different styles?
Here is what I have; this is on the driver/left side just in front of the carb fan. I do NOT...
'01 Tacoma, 148k miles - just within the past week the parking brake light in my instrument cluster will come on while driving; it is the only electrical "gremlin" I've seen so far (original owner). Clearly the brake is not on (manual tranny, so I never set the brake), but must have a loose...
Not mine, and I'm about 4 hours from Boise so I cannot check the rig out, but wanted to pass along. For $3800 might be a good starting point but I have no idea

Hey all - my '85 FJ60 with the 2F has got a leak around the crankshaft pulley, I am assuming it is the seal for the crankshaft pulley within the timing cover? I've looked through the FSM and used the search function; it appears there are two variations of the oil seal but I'm not sure which to...
Saw this on CL, no affiliation but looks like a great project. Never seen one.
I'm about 90 miles from Baker.

Good afternoon all - a few weeks back I posted some pics of a FJ45 my mechanic is working on:
It is apparently a '66, all stock, and the owner is trying to swap out the stock engine with a thrown rod and the stock 3 speed for an already sourced 2F with, presumably, H42 4 speed. My mechanic...
