Help please. I bought a used lift for my 1969 Fj40. I did not receive the shims for the front and back springs. Anybody have photos of the shims? What's the angle of the shim? Are the ones supplied buy RC good or can improvements be made?
Cheers Dennis.

Do greasable shackle pins really make a big difference, or not? Is it just a nice up grade, or what's the deal? Do many people just drill and tap the factory pins, and make their own greasable pins?
I'm thinking of putting on anti-inversion shackles when I put on my rough country lift kit...

Hello all. I'm thinking about some anti-inversion shackles for my 40. I have a guy that does spring rearching, and has done two 60 series for me with good results. I will have him rearch them with a lift to gain 2-3" then I'd like to do anti-inversions with a bit of a lift as well. So my...

I was just wondering what the torque specs are for the speedo housing and parking break plate bolts are for a 1969 fj40. Also the torque for the main nut.

On my 69 Fj40 I the wire from the coil to the ignition has melted. Only noticed after I bought the truck, so not really sure of all the history. It has a 1970 mptor in it as the PO blew the original 1969 motor up. Is there something different about the two motors that I need to know. Is there...
So its time to change the diff, tranny, and transfer case in the 69 cruiser. Bought it some time ago, but no time to get to her. So just would like to know what everybody thought about regular diff oil or synthetic, semi-synthetic oil? Many input would be great.
