Cummins are pretty amazing.
Used to tow 10k lbs (including trailer) sailboats long distance with a 7.3 n.a. Ford. Nice comfy truck, but **** hills were slooooow.
Last trip was over the coq to Kelowna. I was in first gear and could barely keep egts under 1400f.😬
Mud flap near the exhaust...
I just got that from the wiki image you posted 😉
Thinking of a Canadian comparable and it's pretty much just a****** white dude.
Doesn't roll off the tongue for a product line 🤣
Yeah that's a little high. There was another that looked fresh for around the same money a while back.
I was tempted but, not enough to do anything about it.
Haha I actually put a couple gooves in it, that's when I realized I was making a piston 🤣
All cruiser projects are currently delayed while I finish off this little thing.
Self amplified and powered, and small enough to fit in my locker at work. 😁
I figure instead of watching an episode of...
Yeah I'd probably do the 6.
Thinking about it, I ordered the 5 online, was kinda surprised how small it is.
That said, it probably works better for the fiddly s*** I deal with at work. It's saved me hundreds of trips back to my toolbox.
I'd definitely look at tank pickup first. Or just run it from a little jug of diesel to eliminate everything forward of the primer pump. (if it runs lol)
Those metal fuel lines all the way back to the tank can get pretty crusty too, and because these leaks are pulling air in, they don't...
I have the 5" for my pocket carry.
There's times I wish I'd got the 6", they open just that smidge wider, I'm not sure if it'd be as comfortable in the jeans pocket, but they're so close maybe you wouldn't notice the difference?.
You might want to hold them in your hand first to decide...
Yeah there's ways around it. An off switch for the relay would probably do it. I'm not sure if it draws power when not used, but not leaving it on all the time seems like a good plan.
I just know something ridiculous is going to happen at some point 🤣.
I'll dig it out soon and see how it...
Just did a browse of the reviews on the android version of the webasto app. Not particularly favorable...😬
Sounds like a lot of folks still walking out to vehicles in their PJs because it wouldn't connect to the device.
Hopefully they've fixed some issues by now...
So imagine a scenario, where you turn it on with your remote fob from inside your house, then jump in the truck and get 10km down the road and discover there's no remote in the truck...switch on the dash is already off
Because I KNOW I'll forget the damn key fob at least once.
I...
All good questions 🤣
I haven't even opened the box yet. I picked that one because of the 24v truck.
I wonder tho if I turn the heater on with that, I'd also need to use it to turn it off???
I was hoping someone smarter than me would figure these things out, but I haven't managed to find...
I have the 10" version in my shop. Friend was helping me tidy up a while back after a project, he asked where it lived...
Honestly it's not out of my hand long enough to ever get put away.
Expensive, but worth every penny.
Oddly enough the sizes don't vary a ton in price. The little one...
