Thought this was a typo, but Carfax seems in line with the mileage. This attests to the robustness of the 100 Series.
322,508 miles...second owner put an average of 41,975 miles/yr

I recently installed OME 2.5" lift (850/860), Slee's caster correction bushings, and at the same time adjusted the LSPV body down .25" per the thread provided in the FAQs. Last Saturday I was driving on the freeway with my 2 girls (2 & 4 years old) and the car in front of me slammed on their...
Came out of Lowes this evening with my 2 year old to find a built white 80 parked right next to mine. Despite the color and year we had nearly the same mods. Front ARB, OME 2.5", 285 Nitto Terra Grappers. I never see built 80's in my area so good to know there are others around...
Anyways...
I found this local craislist add for an 80 on tracks...not sure if it's anyone on here. I couldn't imagine spending $30k for tracks, but driving through 7 feet of snow is impressive...
TOYOTA LANDCRUISER ON TRACKS
Yesterday, around 6:30pm I saw a nicely built 60 series headed West on Ballinger Way in Shoreline. ARB front bumper lift/tires, rig looked gray in color. Not sure if that was anyone here on Mud.
Anyways, here's a shout out from the 80 series crowd. Nice rig!
**SOLD**
For sale are OME low lift springs which are comprised of two (2) OME 861 springs and two (2) OME 862 springs and yielded between 1”-1.25” of lift from the stock springs. The ride and handling are vastly improved. They are in like new condition, cleaned, and boxed up for the buyer...
I have been running OME 861/862 (stock height) springs with new stock shocks for a couple years and with my new 285’s I would really like an additional inch of lift. The OME stock height springs yielded an inch of lift from the sagging OEM springs. Actual lift compared to new is probably more...
I saw a very nice white 100 series today on Seaway Blvd near the Boeing Everett Plant. The rig was white with champagne OEM fender flares, bumper, snork, roof rack, lifted, etc... Very nice looking rig. Not sure if this was Bull's old rig, but reminded me of it.
Anyways, if this was anyone...
I thought I would post the latest A/T tire review by Consumer Reports. Take it for what its worth, but the tire I was favoring for my next set (Nitto TG) dropped from the number 1 position on the last CR review to now number 8.
Interesting to note the Pirelli ATR's moved to number 1 which I...
I have been researching tires on MUD ever since I got my 80 back in 2004 waiting for the current 275/70's to wear out. I have researched the 265 vs 285 threads to death, but until I actually drive with larger tires I will never know. I am hoping to get swayed one way or the other by this thread...
Today I got an alignment to check Camber/Caster and adjust Toe after recently installing OME 861/862 low lift springs and having the front knuckles, trunion bearings, wheel bearings replaced and repacked.
Here are my Camber/Caster alignment results (Toe is now in spec) with some...
I busted one of the sway bar bracket bolts which attaches the bracket to the frame!!! I thought it was finally loosening up then "SNAP!!!" :crybaby:The bolt broke off in the threaded nut welded to the inside of the frame box. All other bolts after a thorough soaking of penatrant came out.
So...
Hope this is technical enough.... I want to give credit where credit is due. I am about to dig into my clicking front axle and was just about to take the expensive/easy route to have my dealer perform the repack.
After talking over things this week with Dan, at American Toyota, he gave me...
Well I have been putting up with some annoying transmission kickdown/shifting quirks for a while and decided it was time to do some cable adjustments. After researching the FAQ's section Romer has so beautifully put together I adjusted out a significant amount of slack in my acceleration cable...
Well over the last few months I have noticed my wipers progressively performing worse and worse and on our last trip over the pass from Seattle to Spokane the wipers were shot. So I did what I always had done on my 4Runner and bought replacement OEM wiper inserts. I went to install them and low...
My spare wheel is aluminum, identical to the other stock wheels. Is this how they came from the factory or was it originally a steelie? Wondering if the pervious owner had purchased an identical wheel for the spare or not.
Thanks,
Russell
Ran across this 40th on E-bay without 2 tone seats. Was non 2-tone seats factory for 40th anniversary models? Re-covered?

Anybody have experience with either of these paints? The Restoleum is the knock off of the original Hammerite brand, but is one better? The application would be on a front bull bar.
