I spent Friday and Saturday in my stock, supercharged 96 LX450 playing the sand of the Oceano Dunes park. The truck was so much fun , spewing rooster tails of sand when I stepped on it.
Oh yeah, the supercharger delivers!
SOLVED
I only needed the correct tool.
I used a stiff wire, similar to a coat hanger, and zip-tied the wire I used to pull the antenna cable through.
From the passenger side foot-well, this tool was able to get through that hole I found d earlier.
From the engine compartment, looking into the...
So, removing the entire dash to find the antenna cable you pushed through the passenger-side firewall grommet makes no sense at all. I’ve pushed a 4g power cable through that grommet without a problem.
Declaring that you don’t bother with RF anymore because you stream media using your phone is...

I’ve searched Mud and the internet, in general, but haven’t found what I’m looking for.
Someone stole the power antenna locking nut and the antenna shaft exited the unit. Not knowing what I was doing, I broke the shaft’s geared plastic lead; it was very brittle.
I got a...
I've shortened my links to the minimum length, lust like @BillyGoatMTB, and have been running that way on some of the aforementioned trails. Works for me. I too thought it would be best to have the swaybar tilted up and out of the way for I seem to hit everything I can on the trail :rolleyes...
Thank you for the confirmation!
I got these links through Mudrak and have them installed with the Whiteline HD bar on a 4" lift and I absolutely love that it has done for on-road handling.
I want a second pair for my second Cruiser and just needed this confirmation
I just order the quick...

I had the opportunity to view your truck last Thursday, Jan 26th, when we gathered at Faultine Brewery in Sunnyvale, CA. There is so much going on, that it is a gearhead, tinkerer, gadget-hound's dream. Your innovations
I have a '97 LX450 with the Slee HD 4" lift and the Whiteline HD rear...
Change your post title to specify that you need 80-series Land Cruiser headlights because the LX450 lamps and grill are a different shape.
Since you have a Land Cruiser grill, you need Land Cruiser lamps.
I made this mistake when I recently purchased a Land Cruiser lamp for my LX450. Doesn't...
I'm in Santa Clara and I plan on replacing my stock front bumper off of my '96 LX450. The bumper is straight, but will need some paint, if you're going in that direction.
I just learned about these a couple of weeks ago. These are from Flagstaff, AZ? I corresponded with them and learned that they are still in production . I have an LX450, so I would need to get an OEM Land Cruiser grill, or get their kit.
It’s a very cool look, for sure!
Do you happen to have the thermoresistor that is part of the A/C system? It looks like a 1 inch long, 1/4” square aluminum block with a wired connector the attaches to the harness.
Great write-up!
I have a '97 LX450 and I went to that connector behind the kick panel and tested each wire connected to the female connector with the gear selector in Park and then in Reverse. I couldn't find a difference. I have the shop manual, but not the EWD. It looks like this may not be...
I'm looking for passenger side-view mirror, rear quarter panel marker light and rear tail-light assembly. I understand that this truck has rolled, but if there is a chance...
What would be your cost and shipping to Santa Clara, CA 95051?

Terry,
Can one only install the low range gears from this pair? I already have 4.88s in the diffs and with the 315/74R16s that I am running, my RPMS are already up compared to stock. Not quite ready to make the jump to 37s for my LX450.
Best regards,
