    Humming at 40 miles an hour

    1969 fj40 with a fj60 4spd and transfer case. Just had front axle drained and refilled. Had trans fluid checked, added fluid to transfer case. And at 40+ miles an hour I have a humming coming from drive line. Need to order new rear axle drain plug and fill plug. What do you think it could be?

    I have a 1968 Fj40. We put a 1984 fj60 2f motor into it. Had a Rochester 2 barrel on it and that took a dump. Put a rebuilt marlin Toyota carb on it, replaced the fuel line and also the filter.
