just as the title says, im a b00b when it comes to the 60 series, i've done this upgrade on my 91 which turned out great but can it be done with a 2f ? i've done some searching and looks like 4runner calipers are used ?

bc man a fre has a great header setup
if not, than have a muffler shop cut at the Y pipe after the catys and remove that awfull muffler and slam 2.5" piping with a magnaflow/flowmaster/etc.
mine sounds awesome i have 2.5"...

if ur lookin for milage out of a V8 i'd stick to the 5.3L vortecs (newer), but of course its a little more expensive.
Personally, i'd boost ur engine until it brakes and then swap V8 or get a rebuilt OEM block (which i think is better)

well i go to school at Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, and they just dont care realy haha. but im in town and around mammoth for the summer. lets get the audis on the passes around mammoth!
A question to all the gurus of ih8mud,
why did the guys who installed turbos on there 3fe put the turbo next to the headers (right underneath the braking system). Did they have not enough room because of the frame or because it was easier routing ?
well if u got a welder n stuff its cheaper, since the engine is low compression i said why not. (even though exhaust and intake are on opposite side)
turbos are way more rewarding after the work you put into them dude. nothin better than a little bit of boost on an old rig to make it up the...
