    Looking at another 100

Hello I've been gone for a while. Last spring some kid in a wrangler hit our 2002 LX470 and it was totaled. I've now got my eye on a nice looking 2001 LC one owner with service history. Guy says it needs a new brake master cylinder. Those things are expensive which is probably why he wants...

    New Maf ?

Well P0100 refers to the MAF. P0120 would point to TPS.

    New Maf ?

So today it stalled after the first 2 starts. Third time she started. Getting P0100. When I reset the code it shuts the LX down. Tried a few times. Drove to the store and under heavy excelleration it bucks. So has anyone used an aftermarket MAF or know the cheapest place to get an OEM?

    New Maf ?

Towing with your LX470 or LC with AHC

While it's not ideal it is working for me. If you are on flats most of the time you will probably be good. I've towed in the mountains a bit and I'm slow but steady. The AHC works fantastic at keeping her level.

Oil loss when use on highway - 1998 205K engine rebuild at 190K

I had high consumption on my Land Rover post rebuild. Turns out it was sucking itthrough the PCV system. It happened mostly at highway speeds. Worth looking at.

Towing with your LX470 or LC with AHC

I keep the OD off and keep my speeds at 55-60 mph. I only got about 9.5 MPG though but thats to be expected.

Towing with your LX470 or LC with AHC

So I didn't have time to get my WDH setup before my trip this past weekend. I did have my brake controller so I hitched up the camper and hit the road. The AHC handled it beautifully! The LX has no problem towing this load. I was mostly on flat land with a steep but short climb on RT50...

    Thermostat questions

Do you know what the temp rating is? 180? 195? Do I need FIPG or is the O ring the only seal?
