It’s most likely the por liner lifting. I lined mine with it a bit over a year ago, and it lifted and started blocking the exit port at the tank bottom, stopping the truck dead. BTDT. I couldn’t find a new one at any dealer due to COVID stopping production. So I bought the replica tank from...
Also put a Powertrax No-Slip in my rear axle. Been very happy with it. Also put an FJ80 elocker the front axle. Made my own "cpu" switch out of two relays. I'm sure I've posted about it elsewhere on mud...
Main water shutoff valve in basement doesn't anymore. Anyone ever tried to replace theirs? I know a special long shaft t-handle with socket is needed to shut off water going into house. Wish I knew a plumber in Rockville for this...
On my '77 '40, I went with the following setup using the Dorry mount, that now is sold by Georg at Hybrid:
Pick a bushing, then a sheave (pulley), and then the belt. I bought from McMasters. The belt I bought from a local parts store, needed to buy a few sizes and returned the ones that didn't...
On the paper gasket, do a query on a recent post of mine containing a utube from Low Range showing a mini truck/taco diff gasket being installed. It shows how to lightly and evenly apply the toyota orange FIPG/Permatex Gray to the gasket.

Or perhaps it's the missing 10mm socket you've been looking for?
Installed the Energy Suspension body mount kit. Kroiled the hell outta the bolts, and most bolts spun out, the ones that didn't, broke off via a cheater bar and then came out. Parts of it were a major pain, fitment and install-wise, but one by one, got-er-done. Can't tell you how it feels, still...
