1983 FJ60 158,000 miles. Newer(1000miles ago) OME suspension. 32" BFG KM's with about 2,000 miles on them. Front knuckle rebuild with Longfield lifetime seals. Usual rust around the rear wheel wells and bottom of rear gate. Interior is in good shape, has Sony CD player and Sony 6x9's in the...
Long story short. Installed my OME lift in my buddy's machine shed where we work on multiple rigs at a time and my rear shock bolts got thrown out. Anyone know the thread? I know I can get them from SOR for $0.97 a piece but if I can get them locally I would like to do that.
I took my birfield apart, which is the correct way to reassemble? The inner piece has a flat side and a side with like a counter-bore. Which side goes which way and also, the outer cage has a flat side and a beveled side, which way on that. Sorry, I am an idiot and didnt make a note or take a...
So, is the snap ring on the inside of the birfield (the one that holds it on the inner) absolutely necessary? The reason I ask is that I popped the axle apart and found it broken and I would like to get my cruiser on the road today. I am not sure if I broke it or if it was previously broken...
I went to rebuild the drag link ends on my 85 pickup and the rear end was a pain to get out. I found that internal threads are all boogered up. Does anyone know where I could get a new one? Thanks

I got an 83 with bad studs on the left front wheel.:crybaby: I was wondering if someone could help me out with what parts (other than the studs) I will need to complete the job, like seals and the sorts, so I can get them ordered before tearing it down. Thanks for any help.
Hey, quick question. Are the front bumper bolts M12x1.25 or M12x1.5? I would have taken them to the hardware store with me but the threads no longer exist due to PO. There are no threads on the bolts but the other threads are ok.
Thanks!
I removed my instrument cluster and replaced it with a sheetmetal assembly with 4 autometer gauges. Now my alternator won't charge. Any help would be appreciated.
