While long time 1975 FJ40 owner, I am very out of touch with options for current vendors. That being said, what is a good source for stock length greaseable shackles other than SOR? 99% street rig that gets driven very infrequently. Constructive help only please.
where does this mount? Does this converter screw into the speedo drive housing on the output of the transfer case or do you have to have two cables and connect it between them?
Please post a picture if you can. I contacted Abbot and they were uncertain. $125 for the converter and $50 to spice...
I am looking for the glass only to fit a 9/72-79 FJ40 (3rd generation) instrument cluster. Mine are badly pitted probably from welding splatter/grinding from a PO. Local glass shop looked at me like I had 3 eyeballs when asked if they could cut them for me. Clean take offs, repros or NOS???

make sure the O-rings for the dials are there and good. also springs and balls for detents on dial....NLA from anywhere. I did a write up some time ago for replacement springs coming from an RC car transmission.
