    Relocation preoccupation…

Yup, on all accounts. I'm sick of the South Island. Go for it.

    Kids these days

I'd have gotten out and walked. People these days. Move North, it's better. Fewer people and the ones that live there aren't asking those sorts of questions. The South Island is a special breed.

    Not cruiser related..

I went back up to the family gold mine. This year I dragged the kid and SWMBO. No Sixty this trip, rolled in style like a true yuppie. The last time i was there was the 60's first big trip in 2011. Things have changed but not as much as I had thought.

    M101 military tire

It’s been a while… A sad day came when I lost one of the original M101 tires. I tried my best to find a replacement but was not successful. So I’ve purchased two new tires and would like to offer the remaining M101 tire to somebody that wants to keep their trailer original. From what I found...

    12HT Power

The 12ht is basically a Japanese 6bt Cummins. Two of my favorites.

I have been absent for several pages ….. good work. I’m glad you saved the stripes. Your turbo should be just fine at 8 psi if you leave the stripes on. Too many people overlook stripes when sizing turbos. Also, blast some snot of some sort on the inside of those fender flare plug welds. 👍

Never would have guessed. Hahahahaha Seriously though, looks good. I saw all the same stuff in the three sd22 nissan diesels I took apart, albeit you have more sludge in there. I bet it relates to the lack of a stink pipe to atmosphere. Catch can and a new hamster wheel should cut down a lot...

    Manganese/Rhodonite Mine

Those tires sure tuck! Great to see you out exploring, it’s about all we can do these days. I get out every weekend but on 2 wheels not 4.

    Pz engine

I’d have sworn that was an 1hz. Is it really a 5 cyl?

    TLC on UsedVictoria thread... (ongoing)

"Meh.... Truck is rough, we will just chop it in 1/2 and turn it into a trailer". 40 years later "That trailer is worth it just for the mint box".

    CW 2.0

Congrats, Must be nice to run the ol girl, after all, that time and work. I can't wait to see it, drink a pint or two and plaster a few Kermits.

    "Rusty Rockers" BJ74 Daily.

Paul, without gauges you are just guessing. With gauges, you can tune it stress-free. If you turn it up and add an intercooler you can see the differences in egt's.... but you need a gauge. See a theme here? Watching boost gauges is fun... but you need one first. I loved dialing in my 3B turbo...

    DIY welding

How did this escalate to a two welder thread? lol Nick, that's a great machine that will weld anything you can fit in your garage. My mig has only had one wire in it: S6. Its the 7018 of wires, it'll do almost anything. I do have two rolls though 030 diameter for bodywork and 035 for heavier...

    Browsing rural BC real estate

I can relate. Check out Ocean Falls BC, I'm not suggesting moving there or anything, just a cool place and there are some neat Youtube vids on it. Cheapest oceanfront real estate in BC. Its home to a Bit Coin mining operation, a mayor that runs a digger and not much else.

    I Sold it!

I hear ya Lachlan, sometimes the "to do" list gets overwhelming with many things to tend to. Boats and LC's sure take up time and money. I'm sure the new owner will like the 60.
