I xchanged my brand of oil to castrol magnatec 6 weeks ago, the oil lght came on the other day, me frowning big time as I have never had the oil light come on.
checked my oil and it was on the min mark on stick, ?????? no leaks found! I have probably done 4000 miles since last change to the oil...
I have done a search with no luck, just wondering what the top speed is for the 4.5 1fz had mine touching 120mph today on a flat section of motorway/freeway
it may have gone a bit faster but needed to exit, just wondered what the norm is?
Just like to add, the last few days I have been parking my LC on a forward sloping hill, and in the morning when starting, there is a lot less rattle on start up.
I was always under the impression that blue smoke is burnt oil, whether it be past the rings or past the stem seals and white smoke was water in the combutstion chambers, black smoke was far to rich and grey smoke was just an enginge that has not been booted for a while.
mmmm I have read that the ratle is nothing to worry about, but being an engineer, I just need to know what the noise is, its the not knowing that worries me.
I have noticed that my engine is far more rattly on startup, I did change the oil a few weeks ago to castrol magnatec 10 40 I did not change the filter as I do that every other oil change, it rattles only for a few seconds on a cold start up, but it is quite loud now.
I have read on forum...

Hi GF.... yes this is a duel fuel system, starts on fuel and reverts to LPG It costs £2156.00 and takes 5 days to install that means if I do have it fitted, to make sense I would have to keep the car 2 years to reap any benifits, i'm all in a quandry at what to do, if I could have done right...

Last week while out driving I had a "BUM" walk infront of my car and he ended up on my "HOOD" and was dead as a dodo, before anyone could see I dragged the "BUM" by his "SUSPENDERS" and quickly put him in the "TRUNK" of the car, I noticed he had a "FANNY" bag attached to his waist and inside was...
