Hold on - gotta see if I kept it or it went to the dump - the PO was bizarre in that he spent probably $20k getting this FJ "fixed" by local repair shops - he literally had a five inch stack of receipts and they tried everything to get it running - finally a Weber and left all the smog hacked...
I went with the Accel 8140 universal in yellow (I did not pony up the extra $10 for chrome)
Now I gotta find the external resistor -
It started right up "with the resistor"

Right on...thanks...I just disconnected the two green leads going into igniter and had power there but nothing out the coil. So I assumed. I will check the main...small round left of dash correct...looked good
I am new to the 2F - but I gave a buddy a jump the other night and got home - shut the engine down - and it has not started since. I spent the weekend checking and re-checking - reading and re-reading this forum. I have power to the Igniter - but not out of the igniter.
