I removed my racks over the summer due to low garage in new house. Now winter's coming and i'll need to drive everyday.
Had no rust problems so just holes.
Grinded down to bare metal.
Tried JB Weld... Holes too big.
Tried metal epoxy putty... ditto...
Think I'm going to use pop...
Mike at bumpitoffroad built my front bumper with a reciever. I live on the lake and don't like to have the boat out in the rain so now it takes me 5 minutes top to pull the boat in and out. It takes a 10" drop but it is awesome utility.
:flipoff2:Pics of completed seats & door panels coming soon. I endend up taking them to a pro (costing me 2x what I thought it would but they look great so far and I know its done right. Plus with all the darn projects I started because of cruiserjack I never would have had them done by...
Been traveling for work. Have drivers seat cushion on order since upholstery guy (and others) convinced me that it will be worth it in the long run. -
-Got all carpet, jute, changed fuel sock, pulled door panels, and everything bolted down and not bolted down removed and the whole truck...
I've used marine fold out cupholders in my 5 Series and now in my 80. You can get them at Wally World. Find the right position and mount with a 't' bracket bent in a J behind the shifter console. Its very strong and holds the biggest big-gulp you can get.
Damn... might as well do it right. I'm sure the seat cushions are specific to the '91-'92 right?
As Dan said to me last week. This 'hobby' isn't cheap.
Shane...
I took the seats into my guy in town hoping that he could just rebuild the seat cushions because after 19 years the driver's side is pretty 'worn' to say the least. He said that they are custom molded from the factory and I should try to find a new one or he could 'build it up' and...
I'm with you Lane. I'm still tracking the milage gremlins. I swear I have a 11 mpg tank then an 8-9 tank. I changed the FPR with an eBay replacement and one thing it did do was help smoother starts. Its worth changing for sure and takes about 10 minutes to do so I'll say go for it.
J..
After 20 or so emails back and forth with Shane, I think he can pull just about anything together. I can't say enough about his attention to detail (including sending pics of seat covers during the build).
Cruiser Jack I wont know if I should thank you or be upset with you for posting the...
I'm going to do this thread correctly so that being said it may take a few weeks to complete but this is going to be quite the interior make over.
I'm less than a year into the addiction of TLCA and though I love the truck, the cloth and rips and tears finally got to me and AATLAS1X's product...
It would have been much easier had the bolts not been 19 years old. I snapped two thermostat housing bolts and one that goes into the block from the water pump.
Use a propane torch and heat the bolts up before you go at it. Change thermostat while you're in there. Oh yeah try not to snap...

I have to say I'm genuinely impressed. Both the front and rear I went for the lightest duty they had +140lbs / TOY024B (F) & +440lbs / TOY013B. I opted to just do the cc at the same time and went with the ironman 2*...
