Here's a link with a picture of it installed. Picture of FJ wheels as well.

I ended up selling my 80 without the Puma compressor and tire mount from Kevin. I need a home for it and I thought I'd start here. I'd like to sell the compressor, tire mount, and parts as a package. Parts include the mounting hardware, air hose, connectors, and locking air chuck (no ratchet...
Thanks Eric. I do still have the GX470. I had to keep at least one land cruiser, even if it is a cruiser in disguise. I'm pretty sure it will get me everyone I'm going off road with a family full of princesses.
I've decided it's time to part with my cruiser and I thought I'd post it up here first. Hard decision, but two new babies and a busy job are making the decision for me. It's a 94 with factory lockers, 195k on the odometer, and is fairly well built in my opinion. I've put a lot of TLC into...
If you can convince him to go after an 80, I have a locked 94 that I need to part with. I've put a lot of TLC into the truck and love the thing, but my 1 year old daughter and business have been re-prioritizing my life. Hate to let it go, but it's time. I'd like to get $8,000 for it.
Send me a...
Took my cruiser in to have the A/C system evacuated and recharged after I had to remove the evaporator and Murf did a flat out tremendous job. It's a fairly simple job, but they went well out of their way to make sure it was done with excellence. I had no idea how well an FJ80's A/C could work...
Well, I for one like 'La Bumperette'. Maybe because it's simple and purpose built. Maybe because it's mine and no one thinks their child's ugly. Regardless, it's gonna help me do more wheeling.
By the way, how did it end up on my 80? I'm guessing the PO bought it off you.
Who would have thought my bumper had such a glorious history? I think I'm going to need a few more details on this one. For instance, how did it cut Comb's Wash Road in half? I feel proud.
By the way, it was great wheeling with everyone on Sunday.

I've got a set of the 285s on my 80, and I've been very happy with them. Quite a few other people vouch for them as well if you do a broad search across all forums here. If you like them, go for it. Seems like people's biggest complaint has been with the looks, not with the performance. People...
I've been running them at 45 psi with good results. I have not, however done a chalk test yet. Aired them down to about 20 offroad and had tons of grip and no real concern about the sidewall.
What sold me on the tire was how it bordered on an M/T tread, but was still quiet at speed. My wife...
I've been running this exact tire for the last few months and have been very impressed. So far, it's been very solid off road and surprisingly quiet on the freeway. There are some reviews on the internet complaining about squishy sidewalls, but I haven't had this experience. The 285/75 16 is a...
