I got an email from them making sure I realize the unit does not do metric, and giving me the option to change my mind if I wanted. I did know it didn't do metric so not a big deal.
That is nice to see though.
I ordered one and two more for my brother in laws. They should make nice Christmas gifts considering they like to do their own vehicle repairs.
All I really want out of it is a better reading of my engine temperature than the factory gauge.
Looks great.
I am decladding my LX450 as well. I may go the bedliner route if my paint guy balks too much at all the holes. I told him 80 or so a side...
I bought some stuff from CDan and had it delivered to Toronto last year. But with UPS as the only option, it really nullifies much of the savings anyways.
I have both and find the 80 has a fair bit more usable space. Especially since you can drive with the gate open if you have longer items to transport. The FJ only has the tiny rear window you can stick stuff through, as I doubt anyone would drive with the FJ's rear door open.
I am considering going the Snowbear personal plow route. Much cheaper, and easier on the vehicle. A bit less capable, but great for personal use.
They routinely pop of used for $500 or so. You would probably have to modify the mount, or have one fabbed. They never made a mount for the 80, but...
235/80R17 calculates out to 31.8", are you sure about that measurement? Did you mean 235/85R17?
edit: BTW, I have Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmors on my FJ Cruiser (steelies) in a 255/75R17 size (32.1") which I like quite a bit.

Well, I have been trying for days to order the heaters, but have had no luck. I have tried emailing, calling, and using their "live" support.
I just tried to send another email, and it get sent back to me with an error.
Now I am wondering if they aren't giving the deal anymore.
Anyways, deal...
