I run E rated Nokian tires. When towing I’m at 75 psi, when I’m not I’m at 40. When I go off road I run 15. The ride - in general - is more harsh but it still feels like a 1/2 pretty much.
I have a 2.5 gen. Not any longer “destination trails” of note, but there are some nice spots to test your rig in Summerland. We did the whipsaw this past summer and I’m up for more stuff like that… not taking the tundra there though.
I am looking at possibly replacing my bumper with something more solid. I like the ARB but it looks too much with the bar. Wanting something solid but more discreet that I can put a winch behind. I looked at fab fours but wondering if anyone else has experience or picture they can provide...
I did all fluids except brakes at 65,000 km.
I put on nice wide running boards (RB20).
Setrab tranny cooler.
Air bags with Daystar cups.
Air compressor.
1” shackle lift in back.
Bilsteins.
I purchased a 10 report subscription from Autocheck a month ago and I found out tonight I cant use it because its expired. Grrrrrrrr.......... Can anyone who has a Carfax or Autocheck account do me a favor and run a the following VIN? JTEHT05J112005379. Im looking to replace the 80 with a...
I couldn't hear the noise increase in speed with your RPM increase. Your knock also sounds random... it doesnt appear to have a rhythm. Have you isolated the noise to the bottom end?
I have a pair of Bosch Rallyes which appear to be (almost) the same diameter. If you are concerned with airflow, there are mounting tabs on the top of the ARB which allow for your lights. The downside is that they are well above your hoodline... On the other hand, if you are towing a heavy...
There is upfront savings for Diesel because it costs less at the pump. At least for now. Since gasoline has been $1.15 plus a liter, Diesel has maintained a buck per... often less. However, diesel was also $1 a liter when gas was 89 cents. Bottom line, you'd need to keep your diesel a lot...
I fabricated an aluminum mount for mine. Passenger side front fender. The arch of the wheelwheel requires you to make a mount if you want the compressor to sit flat, although the compressor (unless oil lubricated) doesnt need to sit flat.
On board air for your impact and to air up your tires. Simple circuit tester and a pair of vice grips for sure. Wobble extension for your impact. Forget the 18v drill, use your corded one unless you're installing a snorkel in the bush.
It matters HUGETIME how well you balance the load. A trailer of ANY weight can cause the tow vehicle to lose control if it is loaded improperly. A Dodge Diesel Longbox will drive dangerously, indeed, if there is excessive weight behind the axle of the trailer.
It is also the right and...
Google RIV Canada and its all there. This gets the vehicle into the country. You still have the provincial inspections, taxes, etc to sort out though...
Thats a great setup. Dont turn too sharp when you get into your campspot or when you leave the gas station!!! What if the bottle jack leaks? Do you have a pin just in case?
