If you're looking for raw horsepower, and you don't care about fuel mileage (which already sux anyway), dual exhaust is always good for more muscle. Install splitfire plugs, HEI carbon steel plug wires, and advance the timing as far as the ECM will allow before bogging out. I seriously doubt...
What joebob says is pretty much correct. The dealers get to pick what work they want to warranty ouitside of what your original warranty contract says. Do you have an extended contract with nan independant warrany company? If so, your fight is not with the dealer. No two unrelated parts should...
I have been following this. It seems to me that some politicians will just do things to irritate the general public just because they know that the G has got everyone by the nuts and there is nothing we as private individuals can do about it. Look at the threat to gun ownership in this country...
Check to make sure you are not in KPH mode. I made that mistake when I was in Canada. When I crossed back into the US I forgot to change it back to MPH. Just a thought for ya.
The last time this happened to me ( but not on my FJC) it was because my injector nozzles were beginning to get clogged. The FJC is designed to perform best with high octane fuel. If you run regular all the time without an occasional hi-test fill up or the regular use of fuel injector cleaner...
Hmmm...I guess it all depends on the setup you have planned for your rig. In other words, how you will have the weight distributed when you are all done and ready to go off road with it. If both your bumpers are solid steel, the question would be how much cargo weight are you going to carry in...
Unless you can find one on the net (I been lookin'), I'm pretty sure that you are going to have to fab your own bumper or modify one already made. That winch is kind of an odd duck with that crown piece on top. I think that winch was designed to be mounted on top of straight flat bumpers like...
I like the stock seats ok. But like 1911 said, everybody's ass and back are different. What's comfortable for me may be horrible for you. The farthest I have gone in mine is from Chicago area to Mexico, MO, and I found the seats to be of no consequence. :steer:
Rob, go to the FAQ page. Look under General Forum Usage section. Scroll down and look for Attachments and Images. It'll tell you how to attach pics. Wecome to the forum.:D
You will propbably loose about 2" of top out travel if you do any twisters or rock jumping, but that only means the axle won't drop as far. You may bottom out body-to-axle on a rough road, but I don't think you will be looking at any damage to speak of if you truly keep it a "milk run" trip. :D
