    Heat I used a 40 watt soldering iron, its hot enough to solder rc batteries together so its hot enough to heat up loctite. I didnt strip a single screw and reused the original screws. get the heads clean and dry, heat and proper bit.

    Just bought a 1996 Land Cruiser FJ80

    Part sources Cdan quotes good low prices vs. local dealer and very fast response to questions. I recommend IRBIS off-road for used parts if you dont mind from a parted out vehicle. Irbis is one of the vendors here on mud.

    I'm 17 hours ahead of Pacific standard I also have another separate trans cooler in front of the radiator. So it uses 2 coolers then? my radiator top plastic tank is cracked. tried patching it with Napa plastic tank repair kit (its a 2 part epoxy with fiberglass patch) lasted about a week...

    I am looking into replacing my leaking plastic radiator and there are some 1/2 inch lines going into the bottom of the radiator. I think they are for power steering cooling but want to make sure. Can anyone confirm this? thanks.

    So far so good, oil pressure is excellent and power steering is working like a champ, I hear that if that bolt is not tightened enough these are the problems that crop up. good luck.
