There is a wobble that you probably cant feel in the wheel, what do the seats where lugs contact rim look like ? Are they same rims as last year ? Thatd freak me out, I'd get rid of that truck or find the issue, could be simply crappy lugs ? I would have to check out everything from A arm/frame...
What about a guide up above the bearing that contact top rail of slide, could screw it down into frame and shape a chunk of plastic that drops down between that top rail of slide and frame, tapered so it centers slide as it closes and keeps it from rattling left and right.
Is your gauge cluster a circuit board style with big plug for wires or the older wired type ? If it is the older type I would suspect the power jumpers are loose or bad connections behind gauge cluster, slide it out and follow the power input ( not the ampmeter) and follow it to the gauges...
x300 on using Toyota parts, the JT kits works, I know cause I put one on, however it requires modification and IMO the drums work just as good when properly set up. Kurt or Georg for this kit.
Honestly, if you didnt ape it in then I wouldnt worry, although you may want to fix now as removing a stubborn birf can be challenging, slide hammer hopefully works.
says 76' , to answer some of your question, the ampmeter passes main power thru & I get that you bypassed it. I would not think anything piggybacked power from there as it wouldnt be fused exceot the fuseable link if you have one.
Possible your clear coat is preventing the light bodies from...
you dont need the washer with new nut, the " solid spacer" replaces the crush sleeve. ditch the washer and make the above mentioned adjustments, what was your backlash at the pictured patter ?
