This was my HS and college ride.1987 4Runner 5speed manual. Paid $7700 for it. Would kill to still have it. It’s crazy how well Toyota nailed the stance and looks and everything back then.
I bought an FJ60 about 16 months ago. I drive it about 1/3 of the time and my 200 2/3 of the time. Every time I get in my 200 (which is stock), it feels like I have a race car. I can't imagine what it would feel like with a supercharger.
I would prefer to spend my $$$$ getting an LS swap in...
I love my 60. It’s just slow AF. Its in great condition but really almost unsafe to drive in traffic bc its so slow.

I only use it for Google maps. I disabled the auto connect and only use the wired version. I got sick of the audio switching between the LC Bluetooth and the car play audio.
I had my carb rebuilt by Jim C and my mechanic friend did the desmog. My 60 runs like it’s brand new. No choke needed ever. I would highly recommend it. One thing that was frustrating was it took close to 4 months to get the carb back after being quoted 6 weeks. But it was well worth the wait...
