    Builds IPOR built 200

The reason why I made the change was that the old lady wants to get an RV down the road. The Cruiser was just to big and heavy to tow behind a 23'-24' RV. Here is the Jeep with the AEV 2.5" lift and BFG tires.

I just want to take a quick second and say thank you to all the guys who provided insight on building a 200 series Cruiser. The wife and I are looking at getting an RV in the future, so I ended up trading in my Cruiser the other day on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. Once again...

    Builds IPOR built 200

Well this weekend we did two separate trips, Saturday we headed to Mount St. Helens and Sunday we made it into the Olympic National Forest. On the Mount St. Helens trip we averaged 15 MPG on the interstate. This is about a 2 MPG increase over our old Toyo tires. With a total of about 750 miles...

Lowe, I couldn't agree with you more. If it wasn't for the information and inspiration from Iron Pig, Tucan, JB, chimyz, ballsbygm, and dtt255 my truck would have never been built. sbly

Tucan, How's your suspension holding up? I ask because I have followed your write-ups here on mud and you have definitely run your truck harder then I run mine. Aren't the 285/70R17 KM2s about 32.8"? sbly

r3run33, On my last service at the dealership I was told that my drakes are going to need to be replaced soon. So I plan on getting that done at my 55k tune-up. It seems that all that extra weight has taken it's toll. Tucan, I went from the 285/75/17 (34.1"x11.6) Toyo's to the 255/80/17...

Eric, The Toyo's held up well, but after a couple trips they were starting to show wear and tear. To be honest if Toyo made a 33" MT for a 17" rim I would buy them in heartbeat. We haven't had any rain since I got the KM2's, but along those lines I'm looking at getting them siped when I get a...

Bloo, No I don't have the truck in the garage yet, I still have our kayaks on the garage floor. But it does fit, that's the important part. Once again, thanks for the info on the BFG KM2s. sbly

Well it was time for some new shoes for the cruiser, so this time I went with a set of BFG KM2. I went from the 34.1”x11.6” Toyos MT at 70.6 lbs to the 33.3”x10” BFG KM2s at 56.9 lbs. With the new shoes the cruiser no longer rubs on the mud flaps (front and rear) and the sway bar. The truck has...

    OME suspension

AG, Right now the rear of my cruiser sits at 24 1/2", so 23" or 23 1/2" might work a little better if I end up getting the 33" BFG KM2 tires. When you get a second can you measure from the top of your rear tire to the fender lip? My truck currently sits at 7 1/2". sbly

    OME suspension

AG, Thanks for the info. I'm looking at getting new shoes for the cruiser and may change my rear springs to the 723 (constant 440). With my 724 springs and 285/75/17 tires I get some rubbing on the front sway bar at full turn, had to cut the front mud flaps and rub on the rear ARB rear mud...

    OME suspension

AG200, The truck looks great. How do you like the ride of the 723 springs? If you get a chance could you measure the ride height of the rear of your cruiser (from the fender lip to the center hub)? Do you get any rubbing with the 33" tires? sbly

    200 series picture thread

r3, When you and your friends have all their gear on the 200 becomes a 4 seater. As far as off road driving, well we don't really drive off road but there are plenty of roads here that would be considered trails back home. With all the armor the truck has, and the speed in which we drive at...

An update for the truck. I had the guys at Northridge 4x4 do a few mods for me while I'm at work, here are the pictures they sent. They cut off the top rail and pillars of the ARB roof rack. This will now let me park the truck in the garage and lower the overall height when the RTT is mounted...

True, they are a "little different" but still it's nice to have the opportunity to drive various Land Cruisers that I would never get the chance to drive back in the states. Yea I pretty sure that someone will be by shortly to rip out your duodenum for driving a heep and not a cruiser when...

    200 series picture thread

jonharis, If all you want to do is drive cruisers, then come on over. We will even let you pick from our 70, 80, 100, 200 series and or one of or Hilux's. If you want to do any of the Land Rovers or G Wagons that might take a little work but I think we could make that happen. And oh yea the...

OME suspension - Stock or heavy load?

dtt255, How many miles did you get out of the OME shock? Any off road miles? An old lady in a strip club, I see you've spent some time at Camp Lejeune. sbly
