I had the same question, since my 80 has a ton of rust “under the skirt”. Supposedly fluid film will penetrate rust unit it gets to bare metal. At which point you should be able to take off any rust with a simple scraper.
I’ll bring my air tools, impact sockets, and jack stands if I’m not in Florida!
